NEW ITEM!
We are pleased to introduce Oya a collaboration with Marilyn McClellan, creator of Image of Health. Marilyn has been educating me about the West African orishas. The Yoruba people recognize numerous nature or messenger spirits (similar to Christian angels) called orishas. Marilyn originally got her inspiration for the logo for her business from our Yemaya piece. Yemaya is the mother of Oya. Oya, along with being the spirit of the wind, is also the ultimate business woman. It seems very appropriate, in these turbulent times, for me to work/play with this spirit. June 2010
Marilyn is offering a discount to those who purchase an Oya pendant. Reach her through Image of Health. Be sure to ask her about visiting your area with her Moblie Thermal Imaging Lab.

Salaam Peaceful warriors Pat Humphies and Sandy O are two courageous and talented women traveling the world singing for peace. Their band Emma's Revolution was named after Emma Goldman, one of the most outspoken and well-known American radicals, who lectured and wrote about anarchism, women's rights and other political topics.
Pat designed a Salaam Shalom Peace T-shirt which is stunning (I have three). I am thrilled to be working with them by producing the design in silver.
We encourage you to find out more about these social change artists, check out their music, who they are touring with and where! Their newsletter at http://www.emmasrevolution.com is extremely informative. You can purchase the piece directly from their website (along with a variety of t-shirts) or from ours.

"I know it sounds hokey that one might attach such strong meanings to objects; however they just became a part of me at a time when I came out of a personal period of growth. I thank you for giving me tangible and beautiful objects! Thank you for your gift and it is obvious the care and craftmanship you place in your pieces." - Justine The gift of symbolic jewelry can be inspirational and meaningful for both the receiver and the giver. In the Compassion Necklace (right), onyx and beautiful creamy 6mm freshwater pearls come together with sterling spacers and lobster claw clasp.
Onyx is an excellent stone for initiating the modes of centering and alignment of the total person with the higher powers.
It can be used to banish grief, to enhance self-control, to stimulate the power of wise decision-making,
and to encourage happiness and good fortune.
The beads are Black Agate with Moonstone rondelles and sterling.
Round 4mm and arrow shaped rhodolite garnets are combined with sterling silver spacers and clasp in the Flame Necklace (left).
Garnet is a "stone of health." It also enhances one's internal fire, bringing the creative powers to the stage
of implementation. It allows one to recognize inherent responsibility with respect to personal freedom and patience,
inciting personal magnetism and cooperation in instances of change.
